Kunhadi DOA Activity in Beirut Waterfront
In parallel with the global UN Decade of action for Road Safety 2013 which highlights pedestrian safety, on May 26, Kunhadi joined cyclists in Beirut Waterfront to distribute fluorescent jackets and explain how reflective material can keep them visible and safe at night as well as during the day.
Young children also learned how to cross the road using the safe crossing and how to read different road signs, with the help of our lovely volunteers. Young adults learnt about the dangers of drunk driving and distracted driving by wearing the Vision Impairment Goggles and the Distracted Driving simulator while trying to walk on lines without losing balance.
