Road Safety Training for Municipal Police Officers at Sin El-Fil
In collaboration with Cités Unies Liban / BTVL, Kunhadi gave a road safety conference to forty Sin El-Fil Municipal police officers on November 10 at the municipality premises.
The training was aimed at improving the officers' roles and skills in organizing road traffic to protect all road users.
After learning about traffic management, notably around schools and during events, policemen received more information about the dangers of distracted driving, speeding and drunk driving. They also learned about the necessary equipment that must always be available in vehicles and their function.

At the end of the session, the officers tried on the Vision Impairment Goggles - that simulate drunk driving - to know experience the effect of alcohol on the driver's perception and reaction, but also to be able to recognize this kind of behavior in drivers.
The officers also experienced the protection seat-belts provide in a collision, even at a very low speed, through the Seat Belt Convincer.
