Vehicle Tire Pressure

The wheels are amongst the most important parts of the vehicle and need to be kept in check regularly and continuously.
They are designed to:

- Absorb the irregularities on the road to keep its upper structure stable
- Prevent the car from drifting by securing a continuous friction with the road through the carvings on the wheel that allow the flow of water and dirt

One of the most important factors you always need check is the Tire Pressure. When the tire pressure is below or above the amount required, the vehicle becomes subject to:
1- Slipperiness on roads: the friction between the wheel and the ground will become irregular (too large or too minor)
2- Quicker overuse of tires
3- A longer time to stop, especially on wet grounds
4- Increase of Gas consumption: the vehicle will need a longer time to start

For effective braking and to keep the balance of the car, check the tire pressure at least once a week or before any long trip.

P.S. you can find the recommended tire pressure for your vehicle in your glove compartment or on the driver’s side doorjamb.
