Kunhadi Collaborates with Holcim on Road Safety Week in the North
Holcim Lebanon is one of the companies from the private sectors that are growing more and more conscientious of the importance of road safety awareness and collaborated with Kunhadi to organize a road safety week in Kefraya, a town in the North of Lebanon, to spread awareness about: drunk driving, wearing the seat-belt, reading road signs and staying visible on the road.
During the road safety week that lasted from September 30 until October 4, 2013, participants experienced the benefit of wearing the seat-belt even in a crash at a speed as low as 20 km/hr. They also wore the Vision Impairment Goggles to see through their eyes under the effect of alcohol and experienced the dangerous loss of balance and impaired perception a driver goes feels after consuming alcohol.
The road safety week started on Monday September 30 and lasted until Friday October 4, 2013.
