Kunhadi & Holcim at Ecole de Chekka #SaveKidsLives
During #SaveKidsLives week - from May 4 till 10 - Kunhadi organized a series of activities and projects to bring child safety on the road to the attention of the public and local decision makers.
As part of this campaign, Kunhadi collaborated with Holcim Liban s.a.l. to organize road safety days in the North of Lebanon to spread awareness amongst youngsters.
On
May 7, Kunhadi and Holcim hosted three road safety conferences at Ecole Chekka school for 173 young students to teach them how to keep
themselves safe on the road, in the car and on the bus. Kunhadi
distributed reflective bracelets among the students so they could wear
them whenever they are using the road to stay visible to drivers,
especially at night.
Kunhadi also introduced the kids to the
global campaign launched by the UN to #SaveKidsLives and asked them to
express their road safety demands on the campaign signboards.
After
the conference, the young students received coloring booklets offered
by Holcim and Kunhadi to remember the information they learned during
their road safety day in a fun and interactive way.
