Tyre Co-educational Second Intermediate Public School

UNIFIL's civil affairs section launched a road safety awareness campaign in Tyre, South of Lebanon, in collaboration with Kunhadi and the UNIFIL's Italian and Tanzanian military police units.

Kunhdadi and the UNIFIL troops visited Tyre Co-Educational Second Intermediate Public School, where Kunhadi Vice President Mrs. Lena Gebrane explained to over 150 young student about safe behaviors on the road and teaches them how to keep themselves safe on the road, on the bus and in the car.

After the conference, the students participated in road safety exercises organized by the UNIFIL's military police and learned how to cross the road safely using a safe crossing simulator.
