Road Safety Reminder on Maten Wall - Matta Contracting & Kunhadi

The Maten Highway is so famous around Lebanon for having a high mortality rate that it earned the nickname “Highway of Death”. The most dangerous point – blackspot – on this highway are its sharps curves that have been the scene of numerous fatal crashes due to excessive speed.
 
Despite the existence of road signs limiting the speed to 40 km/hr, drivers often disregard them, which leads to their loss of control over their cars and in many cases, collisions.
 
Having a few large container boxes located in the proximity of these menacing curves, Matta et Associes SAL collaborated with Kunhadi to install road safety-themed layouts upon the container as a reminder for drivers to be responsible and slow down before they reach the curve.
