Hana Qaysi Memorial To Raise Awareness On Pedestrian Safety
22-year-old Hana Qaysi was crossing the road on the green pedestrian light when a truck ran the red light and fatally hit her.
Her friends and family, in collaboration with Kunhadi, organized a memorial on the location of the crash and raise awareness on the necessity of respecting the traffic law and respecting traffic lights. Participants then marched while wearing reflective jackets to highlight the importance of pedestrians to remain visible to drivers at night, and cross the road over safe crossings in the area.
