Kunhadi Mothers Day Brunch 2015
Kunhadi celebrated Mothers Day in a fundraising brunch that took place at Bar Tartine in Dbayyeh, on March 19, 2015, under the slogan "Nothing is scarier than losing a mother".
Sponsored by Kunhadi Ambassador, Mrs. Inas Abou Ayyash, this yearly event gathered mothers and supporters of Kunhadi to raise funds for the installation of safe crossings in front of Lebanese schools, in parallel with the global campaign launched by the UN to #SaveKidsLives.
During her speech, Kunhadi Vice President, Mrs. Lena Gebrane, reminded mothers of the important part they play in setting a role model of a safe road user and responsible driver for their children to look up to. Mothers also play a major part in curbing drunk driving by insisting their children would take a taxi whenever they’re going out drinking.
Towards the end of the event, Kunhadi Ambassador surprised the audience by offering a large cake dedicated to all mothers in honor of their effort and importance.
