Make Roads Safe

Objective: Improve road safety.

Story behind it: Road crashes kill 1.2 million people around the world every year.
To respond to this epidemic, the FIA Foundation organized the Make Roads Safe campaign around the world to gather 1.2 million signatures. The petition was presented to the UN general assembly in April 2008 to support a $300 million, 10 year, global action plan towards improving road safety in developing countries.

The Kunhadi organization was chosen in Lebanon to help explain the project to the Government and gather signatures.

Kunhadi was able to gather more than 17 thousand signatures in just three months time and was the number one country who was able to gather all member of parliaments signatures.
