Second Mixed Public Intermediate School in Bint Jubayl with UNIFIL
UNIFIL's civil affairs section launched a road safety
awareness campaign in Tyre, South of Lebanon, in collaboration with
Kunhadi and the UNIFIL's Italian and Tanzanian military police units.
Kunhdadi
and the UNIFIL troops visited Second Mixed Public Intermediate School in Bint Jubayl where Kunhadi Vice President Mrs. Lena Gebrane explained
to over 266 young student about safe behaviors on the road and teaches
them how to keep themselves safe on the road, on the bus and in the car.
The
students also received Kunhadi coloring booklets to remember the tips
they have learned in the conference while coloring and having fun.
After
the conference, the students participated in road safety exercises
organized by the UNIFIL's military police and learned how to cross the
road safely using a safe crossing simulator.
