Speeding
Objective: Convince drivers to start respecting speed limits.
Story behind it: Road safety engineers specify speed limits for good reasons. The faster you drive, the harder it is to react safely to obstacles or pedestrians that may appear in your path. It is also harder to control your car when going at high speed and breaking takes longer and is more difficult, nearly impossible in most cases.
Especially in Lebanon, Speed limits really need to be respected. The "macho" and "show-off" mentality is still a big issue in this country, where having a faster, better and more powerful car than the others is of great importance, and so is driving faster than everyone else. And with no proper road safety control, this all adds up to become a recipe for disaster.
