Safety Measures on Professional Racing Tracks

Here are some safety measures taken to protect F1 racers:

- All areas around the driver, especially around the head, are padded to protect the driver as their head is thrown away
- Helmets
- Energy absorbing structures on the sides of the driver to absorb the shock of any crash
- 6-points seatbelts that strap the drivers to their seats
- Closed track where no other road users are present
- 300-350 meters of empty distance dedicated only for the car’s skidding
- Caoutchouc wheels at the end of the free distance to absorb the shock of the crash

When all these measures and many more and taken to protect professional drivers on specialized tracks, what does that make of racing and speeding on regular roads?
