Kunhadi Vice President Receives Four Honors On Women's Day


On the International Women’s Day, Kunhadi’s Vice President, Mrs. Lena Gebrane, was honored on four occasions for her inspiring journey since the loss of her eldest son Hady in a car crash 10 years ago, to becoming the Vice President of the leading Road Safety organization in Lebanon.


The Municipality of Dekwene and the Eastern Club For Civilizations Dialogue honored Mrs. Gebrane and fifteen other remarkable Lebanese women at the Palais de Congres – Dbayye, on March 4.


On March 8, as a tribute to women, Phoenicia Hotel projected the portrait of five pioneer Lebanese women from different fields on the hotel’s walls and launched the #IPledge movement to empower women to inspire each other.


The higher education sector also celebrated women’s invaluable role in the world, on March 8:

unhadi’s VP for her dedication to the cause of road safety awareness in Lebanon.

Mrs. Gebrane also had the honor to be invited to Haigazian University’s Women’s Day celebration during which the university paid tribute to five inspirational ladies who are making a difference in Lebanon.
